Hi *
I'm a software developer and was lured to use Ubiquity Hosting because they offered mono and SSH access. Since I started using their servers my clients reported broken mail delivery, long access times and fairly often complete dead server problems.
I've never written a review but these guys really got me ticked off with their dumb answers when you ask them to check something. They always throw it back to you, no matter how many people are telling them its on Ubiquity Hosting's end. Arrogant and slightly retarded customer service that will tell you one fable after another as long as they can keep playing their xbox over there. Don't use them and if you do; i told you so.
PS : Have a look around on the web before using these guys, they're getting terrible reviews and all the good ones they're getting carry the names of their support team. Pretty poor stuff, guys.
Also, I wanted some of my cash back from them (for a year that hadn't started yet and was still 10 months away) and they wouldn't pay up. It went sour from there as the service got even worse.

don't deal with these guys

I was shocked; had only heard good things, but after dealing with them, I got the feeling they faked most of the reviews on review sites.
There was no assistance, support would never answer questions and often even phone calls. Their supposed open 24 hours 365 days equated to 1 hour every 7 days.
There's better services out there, steer far clear of these guys.

Good Hosting, Does What It Should

I ordered one of their Cleveroy hosting plans about a month ago. The account was setup instantly, my site has never been down, and they've got a nice cPanel for installing Ruby Gems. Support's been very helpful, although most of my questions have been answered by their company wiki, which is really awesome. I'm not sure why more companies don't do the same.

Unbeatable support

Support went above and beyond. 100% uptime, fast deployment of services. These guys are great.
These guys aren't just some corporate entity, they're down to earth and give you honest answers and fast results. It's really a throwback to good old fashioned business practices.

I have to hand it to Ubiquity, over the past few years they've consistently had some of the best support of I've seen in hosting; and on the top end of customer service I've experienced in general. Thanks guys.

The worst host out there

They offered us a decent service for a decent price, sadly they didn't deliver and the sites were down 95% of the time. They then blackmailed us to get content off their servers and forced us to pay another month hosting to get all info that had been uploaded by users.
The original servers were not what we paid for and when we asked for money back, which they wouldn't do, then I went to do a charge back. They threatened us with legal action.
I would not touch these guys ever again!

Fantastic hosting provider. My VPS was setup within 2 hours. Support always responds within 10 minutes; always on live chat unlike many other hosts I've worked with. A+++

The Extra Mile

Everything has been taken care of for me with Ubiquity Hosting. I wasn't so web savvy to begin with, but they helped me with the basics and then some. I plan to upgrade to their dedicated plan as my site continues to grow. It hasn't been perfect, but they've worked to get everything straightened out as quickly as they could. It was great knowing that if I had questions that I could access their live chat support for guidance.
